The Jim Hat

Named for my father-in-law, this is a simple, basic hat that knits up quickly and is sure to keep the wearer warm!  (PDF)

The Ariella Hat

My mother and I have a tradition of knitting for my cousins’ and our family friends’ babies — she does the sweater, I do a matching hat. Sometimes there is no matching hat, so I’ve made one up. Here is the Ariella Hat, based on the eyelet pattern in the Alice Sweater from Louisa Harding’s Enchanted Garden. This hat was designed for my cousin Robin’s daughter, Ariella.

The Riley Hat

As for the Ariella hat, this one was designed for a baby cousin: my cousin Rachel’s little girl, Riley. The lace is made to match the popular Knitty pattern Helena.

I have also designed a pattern for matching socks, available through Ravelry.

The Bianca Bag

At a previous job, my office had the tradition of a “secret snowflake” gift exchange for the December holidays. This bag was named for my co-worker, Bianca. It was filled with hand-knitted washcloths and fancy soap, but you can put whatever you want in it!
